QUADRAPOL launches PAPILLON, the innovative and affordable high-end wooden compact home
Rising cost of living, unprecedented difficulties in the construction industry, rising interest rates, reluctant banks, shortages of materials… These are all subjects we hear about every day. To address these issues, QUADRAPOL has launched the PAPILLON wooden loft, a bright, compact home with 4 sleeping areas.
The top-of-the-range wooden house at 78,000 euros, including transport
The PAPILLON is a truly ecological compact home. The latest addition to the range, it meets today’s needs. It represents a real alternative to traditional housing in the face of rising energy costs and the many difficulties encountered in carrying out a construction project. For example, difficulties accessing mortgages and rising interest rates. But there are also rising prices for materials, longer construction times, labor shortages, increased constraints imposed by town planning authorities in obtaining building permits, and so on…

A small ecological wooden house for 4 people
The PAPILLON has the architecture of a compact loft with 4 beds on a perfectly optimized 30 m2 surface. It is equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and a mezzanine of 9 m2 with a height of 1.75 m. It perfectly integrates the requirements of the energy transition, with ecological thermal insulation and high-performance waterproofing. The use of healthy, durable materials of European origin makes the PAPILLON a high quality product. Off-site construction has the advantage of better management of manufacturing waste.
The design of this compact home allows it to be transported, giving owners the option of moving their home to suit their life’s journey.
Installation without planning permission in just 3 months
Designed in the workshop by experienced craftsmen and delivered directly assembled on site. As a result, PAPILLON is installed on a turnkey basis in at least 3 to 5 times less time than similar traditional construction. To achieve carbon neutrality and offset CO2 emissions linked to production and transport, QUADRAPOL finances the planting of 20 to 30 trees for each wooden house built.
The possibility of total energy and water autonomy
Thanks to its compact, perfectly insulated surface and low energy requirements, this ecological wooden loft can easily operate independently. For a supplement starting at 14,900 euros, owners will pay neither electricity (photovoltaic panels) nor water bills (rainwater recovery system with pump and filtration).
