A Tiny House is a real timber-frame house mounted on a trailer.
Handcrafted in our workshop, the materials used to build it are designed to be environmentally-friendly and highly efficient in terms of thermal and acoustic insulation. The structure is made of KVH wood, a dried, finger-jointed solid wood free of structural defects, and is particularly resistant. Our larch and red cedar claddings, two natural wood species certified PEFC and FSC, are rot-proof and naturally fungicidal. Like a real wooden house, the Tiny house is designed to be durable, both in its composition and its lifespan.
Can the same be said of a caravan? We're not convinced!
The size of your Tiny House trailer is an essential element. It has to fit your project, and adapt to the way you're going to use it, your lifestyle and your needs. At Quadrapol, we use trailers with a 6m platform for most of our models, with the exception of the Hydi Tiny House. This size makes it possible to create a beautiful living space with all the comforts required for year-round occupancy. This size also allows towed transport for projects weighing less than 3.5 tons, which is more than feasible with this trailer size. It's a good compromise for maintaining a certain degree of mobility.
For tailor-made projects, we can also consider trailers of up to 6 meters in height.
A Tiny House weighing up to 3.5 tons (as is the case for our models) can be towed by a vehicle with a towable weight of 3.5 tons. The towable weight of your vehicle is calculated using the F.2 and F.3 information on the towing vehicle's registration document.
To do this, look for your F.3 Poids Total Roulant Autorisé (PTRA) and your F.2 Poids Total Autorisé en Charge (PTAC) on your vehicle registration document. Once you've identified this information, simply subtract the GVW from the GVWR.
To deliver or move our Tinyhouses, we regularly use 4×4s, pick-ups or van-type utility vehicles that meet the above criteria.
In order to tow your Tiny House, you'll need a BE license. Training lasts an average of 28 hours, but the number of hours can vary from person to person. The practical test consists of two parts: one off-road and one on-road. The cost of the BE license ranges from €500 to €1,000. The price per hour can range from €35 to €50.
We agree: the best way to get a feel for a Tiny House project is to visit one! And the good news is that there are several options open to you!
Near Avignon, where our agency is located, you'll find our showroom with several models on display. They can be visited by appointment, so don't hesitate to contact us.
Our strength also lies in our strong presence throughout France and Europe. Among our customers are those we call our ambassadors. Eager to share their experience of Tinyste, they will welcome you on a visit organized by appointment.

A Tiny House is both a trailer and a timber-frame house. The Tiny trailer must be registered and insured when on the road. When parked, comprehensive home insurance or mobile-home insurance is recommended.
Expect to pay between €400 and €900 a year for comprehensive insurance. Of course, these prices may vary from one organization to another.
At Quadrapol, we're transparent and share the price of each tiny house, from the plans to the technical details of its construction, to give you as much information as possible. Our tiny houses start at €24,900 including VAT for a Nid Campagne. Added to this price is transport from our workshop to the commune where you wish to install your wooden cottage.
At Quadrapol, we offer a range of Tiny Houses whose plans have already been studied and validated by our design office. We can customize each of our models to suit your needs and your living or rental project.

What a lodge and a mobile home have in common is that both are light leisure dwellings. This means they can be dismantled and transported.
But when it comes to composition and durability, a Quadrapol lodge is nothing like a mobile home. In fact, our lodges are real wood-frame houses, guaranteeing comfort and quality of life thanks to excellent thermal and sound insulation. We use durable materials to ensure that your home will last for years to come. We offer wooden lodges and chalets from 20 to 60m2 to suit your needs.
Our autonomy options are perfectly adaptable and can be installed on a Tiny, a garden studio or a lodge. Partial or total autonomy can be offered depending on your project.
