Hello Paul, tell us about your job.
Hello ! I'm a plumber at Quadrapol. I take care of the plumbing for all our wooden constructions. I install all the hydraulic and gas systems in the houses.
Thanks to the tools I have at my disposal, such as the crimping machine, I can ensure that all installations are perfectly watertight. It's a very important part of building a house, especially a wooden one. It's also a big responsibility. I don't have the right to make mistakes, because a leak in one of our constructions can have consequences for the safety of its inhabitants. That's why I'm a perfectionist, and I apply myself to every installation I have to carry out for a project.
I also install the various fittings such as showers, sinks and washbasins. I like to see the results of my work.
I also help my colleagues by installing insulation to keep customers warm in their homes. Indeed, working at Quadrapol is a team effort. We all work together on every project, and we like everything to be done on time. That's also one of the reasons why helping each other is such an important value in our team.
How long have you been working at Quadrapol?
I've been with Quadrapol for 1 year! I hope to stay as long as possible.
What I like about the company is first and foremost its concept: building wooden houses and nano-housing is a concept that isn't very widespread yet, but which is the future of the housing sector. I like the fact that I can add my own personal touch to each building, especially as they are environmentally-friendly, sustainable and of high quality.
It's a change from the traditional housing sector as we all know it. At Quadrapol, everything is thought out in a more respectful way, especially when you consider that the concrete construction sector is one of the most polluting.
I also like the constant emphasis on providing our customers with quality products that will stand the test of time. Quality is indeed an essential aspect of our work. Everything has to be done with the utmost care and precision.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Ever since I was a kid, I've loved assembling, putting together individual parts according to diagrams and assembly instructions. When I'm working on a project, whether professional or not, and I see that everything's working perfectly, I get a feeling that's both very pleasant and rewarding.
I also love getting feedback from customers and sharing with them the joy of seeing their project come to fruition. But our work doesn't stop when a house is finished. It can happen that years later, due to misuse for example, customers encounter minor problems. So it's also my job to analyze the problems and find solutions with them, so that they can once again enjoy their home to the full.
What terms would you say best define Quadrapol?
Quality, high standards and job security, because Quadrapol is a solid, long-established company and an expert in its field. We're getting more and more orders, and we're delighted to be able to work on new projects!
